Evergreen School District 50 is a small, rural school district located in the southeastern corner of Colorado. The Evergreen School District has a population of less than 2,000 students and covers an area of just over 20 square miles. The Evergreen School District was founded in 1892 and served as a primary school until 1929. In that year, the first high school opened in the district.
