Oldham County Schools are a system of public schools in Oldham County, Kentucky, United States. The system has eighteen schools, including one high school and one secondary school. As of the 2016-17 school year, Oldham County Schools had an enrollment of 10,266 students.
The Oldham County Schools system was founded in 1881. At that time there were two schools in the county – Spring Hill School and Tates Creek School. Spring Hill School served students from north of the river while Tates Creek School served students from south of the river. The first high school opened in 1912 and the first secondary school opened in 1916. Today, the Oldham County Schools system has eighteen schools serving a student population of 10,266.
