Lake County School Calendar 2023-2024
Lake County School is a public school located in unincorporated Lake County, Florida. It serves students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The school has a student population of about 1,000 and an annual budget of about $6 million. As of 2010, the school had a graduation rate of 82%.
The school was founded in 1923 and originally served as a one-room schoolhouse. In 1962, the school underwent major renovations that included the construction of new classrooms and an administration building. Lake County School was renamed to its current name in 1975 after being merged with another local elementary school.
