Hillsborough Township Public Schools is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from Hillsborough Township, in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2014-15 school year, the district and its five schools had an enrollment of 3,829 students and 269.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.7:1.
The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group “FG”, the fourth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.

Hillsborough Township Public Schools Holidays 2023-2024
Hillsborough County Schools offer a variety of school holidays and breaks each year. The most popular holidays are Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Many schools also offer additional days for students to take off for personal reasons or to attend special events.
During the school year, Hillsborough County Schools observe the legal federal holidays of Martin Luther King Jr. Day (2/15), Presidents’ Day (2/19), Good Friday (4/1), Easter Monday (5/5), Memorial Day (5/29), Independence Day (7/4), Labor Day (9/3), and Christmas Eve (12/25).
