The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) is a public school system in Evansville, Indiana, United States. The EVSC operates 33 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, and 4 high schools. EVSC operates EVSC Online, an online school that offers both public and private online courses. EVSC was formed in 1975 through the merger of the Evansville Community Schools and the Vanderburgh County Schools. The corporation is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees who are elected by the people of Vanderburgh County.
EVSC has a long history of innovation and excellence in education.
