LAUSD School Calendar 2023-2024
Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is one of the largest school districts in the United States, with over 1.3 million students in more than 500 schools. LAUSD ranks first in the nation for student achievement on the ACT college readiness exam and is second only to New York City among all large urban school districts.
The district has been under fire in recent years for its high levels of poverty, low graduation rates, and poor quality of education. In addition, there have been allegations of abuse and neglect by some members of the LAUSD staff. Despite these challenges, LAUSD remains one of the most diverse school districts in America, with students from more than 150 countries attending its schools.

LAUSD School Holidays 2023-2024
The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is planning several holidays during the 2023-2024 school year. These include Teacher Appreciation Day on October 6th, National School Walkout on March 14th, and Cinco de Mayo on May 5th.
